I am a visual artist from Houston, TX taking on the streets of New York. Being behind a camera and then chopping up clips to make something totally new is what keeps me going. I love to transport my audience with light and color, romanticizing the world I walk through with my lens. I make projects ranging from narratives to art instillations, but documentaries will always have a special place in my heart. I’m enamored by the way they allow for connection to real stories told by real people. Now more than ever we need ways to understand the perspectives of those around us, and I feel documentaries can be this bridge.
